Mary Louise Simkins Memorial Golf Club is pleased to announce that it will host the upcoming K&K Invitational Golf Open from 11 to 13 July 2025 at its course in Namulonge, just outside Kampala.
The tournament is designed to bring together Uganda’s elite amateur players and passionate club golfers for a weekend of competitive golf and community engagement.
The event will feature two main categories:
- The Elite Amateurs Division will be open to players with a handicap index of 10 or lower. This category will be contested over 54 holes across three days. Entry is set at UGX 100,000.
- The Subsidiary Division will cater to both men and women, with players grouped into categories A, B, and C. This division aims to promote inclusive participation and club-level competition. The entry fee is UGX 50,000.
In addition to the tournament, participants and guests will enjoy a signature 19th Hole experience to close the event. The dress code for the day is white with a touch of colour.
Captain Collins noted that, “The K&K Invitational is an important addition to our calendar. It reflects our commitment to nurturing competitive amateur golf while celebrating the community spirit that defines our club.”
